The OUTDOOR ESL TEACHER (NEW ZEALAND) is a very important role to the overall success of the Program delivery area ofOutBeyond. The position is responsible for developing, improving and delivering non-award English language programs, mostly 1day – 7days in duration that have an emphasis on general life and culture of New Zealand. The course content that we deliver is quite basic as our student age levels range from 8 – 14 years of age, and the purpose of their travels is not to learn English, but to instead enjoy the country in which they travel to.
The role is suited to individuals with a teaching background, or those teachers looking for casual relief-based work during off peak times such as the school holidays, weekends and other suitable periods. The position requires applicants to have an enthusiastic attitude and enjoy teaching English to students of a foreign country.
The casual position requires some flexibility with working hours, occasional travel to work alongside the tour leaders, as we travel around the beautiful country of New Zealand visiting iconic tourism destinations, universities and other nature based activity destinations.
The OUTDOOR ESL TEACHER (NEW ZEALAND) will, from time to time, may be required to assist with creating new programming curriculum and have an in depth understanding of ESL to ensure that we deliver outstanding customer experiences in line with our company mission.
The Operations Manager (New Zealand) is a new role which has been developed to enable our New Zealand strategic plan to come to life and for our growth ambitions to be achieved. The applicant should be interested in business and administration and have a passion for developing and implementing new business initiatives and ideas.
You will be responsible for growing the New Zealand customer base as well as the program delivery requirements managing the day to day operations of the business within New Zealand. The role is suited to individuals with a high level of attention to customer service and customer experience, attention to detail, meticulous management skills, sales and marketing experience, logistics and delivery of tours and educational travel programs, and a passion for developing and growing successful businesses.
The position is suited to teachers or tourism professionals with at least 2 years’ experience, and requires applicants to be enthusiastic, energetic, demonstrate charisma and passion when it comes to working in travel and outdoor settings with young people. The position requires some flexibility with working hours, the ability to travel to and work in program delivery destinations across New Zealand, visit customers and client schools, and establish and nurture delivery partners/suppliers.You must have some experience in education or travel.
You will need to take initiative in creating new programs, supplier partners, itineraries, programming curriculum and have a foundational understanding of theNew Zealand education system, NZ Tourism industry and program delivery locations/sites to ensure that we deliver safe, student-led outstanding customer experiences inline with our company mission.
The International Education Assistant (Japan) is a very important role to the overall success of the Japan export strategy of OutBeyond. The position is responsible for managing the day to day marketing and promotions activities within our Japan strategy. The role is suited to individuals with a high level of attention to detail, design and communications expertise, time management skills, and a passion for helping small businesses that exist for impact. The position requires applicants to have an enthusiastic attitude, be energetic, and demonstrate a wide range of skills in marketing and promotion. The position requires some flexibility with working hours, occasional travel to work in the Japanese market, and some program delivery destinations in Australia, New Zealand and Japan.

The position requires some flexibility with working hours, occasional travel to work in the China market, and some program delivery destinations in Australia, New Zealand and China.
The International Education Assistant (China) will, from time to time, may be required to assist with creating new programs, supplier partners, itineraries, programming curriculum and have an in depth understanding of our program delivery locations to ensure that we deliver outstanding customer experiences in line with our company mission.
We are looking for 5 x Program Coordinators that possess the qualities and characteristics that will help educate young people in outdoor and travel based environments. This position requires passion, enthusiasm, energy and a dedication to working with young people and the environment. The Program Coordinator is essentially responsible for managing the day to day operations of our programs by providing total support to the student groups in the field. This role is suited to teachers, camp leaders, outdoor educators, and tour guides who have some management and logistics experience. The position requires applicants to have an enthusiastic attitude, be energetic, and demonstrate significant amounts of charisma and passion when it comes to working with young people. The position requires some flexibility with working hours and experience in education and working with children. You will be responsible for managing the expectations of the student groups, their respective accompanying teachers, and most importantly the program facilitators so that they can carry out their job. You will need to assist with creating program itineraries including the program curriculum, have an in depth understanding of our program locations and ensure the outstanding delivery of customer experience and management of field staff.
The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the business within the assigned region(s). The role is suited to individuals with a high level of attention to detail, meticulous management skills, systems analysis and design, logistical process implementation and delivery, and a passion for developing and growing small business. The position requires applicants to have an enthusiastic attitude, be energetic, and demonstrate significant amounts of charisma and passion when it comes to working in an environment that ultimately serves young people. The position requires some flexibility with working hours, the ability to travel to and work in program delivery destinations, customer locations, and supplier locations in Australia, New Zealand and Asia. You must be able to demonstrate experience in education and working with children. You will be responsible for managing the overall expectations of our client groups, accompanying teachers, and most importantly the program coordinators and facilitators so that they can carry out their job. You will need to assist with creating new programs, supplier partners, itineraries, programming curriculum and have an in depth understanding of our program delivery locations to ensure that we deliver outstanding customer experiences in line with our company mission.
We are looking for 20 x Program Facilitators that possess the qualities and characteristics that will help educate young people in outdoor and travel based environments. This position requires passion, enthusiasm, energy and a dedication to working with young people and the environment. The position requires flexibility with working hours, patience and some experience in management, physical/outdoor education, tourism, education, and/or adventure activities in the outdoors. You will be responsible for leading and managing a group of students and their accompanying teachers nationally and internationally. You will need to understand the program itinerary including the program content, geographics and delivery methods in order to show expertise in your leadership delivery.
