Introduction

Less than an hours drive from Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula OutBeyond program is the perfect school camp location for your students. Supporting students of all needs and abilities, this program gives students the opportunity to plan, manage and lead their own program with the full guidance and support of the OutBeyond instructors and facilitators. Allow your students to participate in this student-led Leadership and Development Program. Adventure into this spectacular coastal and marine environment as your students explore and discover the natural wilderness of the Mornington Peninsula.

Aims & Objectives (Educational Outcomes)

Students will develop a deeper appreciation for nature through working with parks rangers, taking part in local indigenous cultural activities and adventures on the land and water. Through OutBeyond’s unique Leadership and Development Program, students will take on an active role within the team, which allows for the development of a number of key life skills in our program participants.

OutBeyond educators run a full-day program at your school including student ice-breaker & planning activities, teacher on-boarding workshop and a parents information session.

Program Review & Feedback.

OutBeyond will meet with your camp coordinator and discuss the programs effectiveness in detail, including:

  • Provide teachers with tools to continue the developmental outcomes in the classroom.
  • Present and review Teacher & Student feedback forms.
  • Discuss any issues or concerns.
